CAMP FICKES SHOOTING RANGERThe Camp Fickes Shooting Range is located in the Pike National Forest near
Lake Wellington, southeast of Bailey.
It provides a long range for rifle with distances of 200,300 and 600 yards
and a short range for rifle and handgun with distances of 7yds, 50ft., 25,
50 and 100 yards. Camp Fickes is the home of the Buffalo Creek Gun Club and is open to the public April through October from 9AM to 4PM on Saturday and Sunday. The fees are $15 per adult and $20 for a family (husband, wife & children under 18).
To access the range on weekdays or other months of the year, special
arrangements can be made by emailing info@campfickes.com and requesting a
specific date, the full names of everyone in your party and a good phone
number.
